Dave Lemieux, Executive Director

Dave LeMieux – worship leader, recording artist, and award-winning songwriter – lives in Colorado with his family. A Cum Laude graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, Dave earned his Bachelor of Music in composition and production in 1993, and in Fall 2021 began pursuing a Master’s of Divinity from Denver Seminary.

He served as Worship Arts Pastor at Colorado Community Church in Denver and Aurora for 14 years before co-founding More Than Music. As its Executive Director, Dave has forged partnerships with the Mizel Museum, The Denver Foundation, Stanford University, the US State Department, and other organizations in order to expand the reach of Gospel music throughout Colorado, the United States, and four continents.

As a lyricist and scriptwriter, his love of words predates his teen years, thanks to countless epic Boggle games with his grandmother. Dave has written or co-written hundreds of songs, including the “Song of the Year” at Integrity Music’s 2007 songwriting competition and Songwriting U’s “Best Gospel Song” in 2021.

His most recent joy has been traveling to Israel to study and teach Biblical history while capturing footage for Blue Gospel Scripts.

Kaitlin McCarthy, DEPUTY DIRECTOR

A Colorado resident since 1989, Kaitlin graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2003 with Bachelor of Music degrees in horn performance and piano performance. She performed with and arranged for the Denver Brass for 16 years, and helped co-found and launch More Than Music. A “Type A” / Enneagram “1” personality, Kaitlin LOVES being the “behind the scenes” general details person (editing scripts and recordings, transcribing music, booking performers, handling registration, etc.) for Blue Gospel Scripts as well as MTM’s other performances, including Tour Managing its traveling school assembly program, “At the Table with Dr. King.”

She visits India as often as possible, both to train and encourage musicians and women… and to eat as much biryani as she can!

In addition, Kait enjoys travel (34 countries so far), knitting, her family (including two adorable nieces), the music of John Williams, All The Dogs, efficiency, and SPREADSHEETS.

JULIE MACCLUSKEY, VISUAL SPECIALIST

Julie helped found and launch MTM in 2009, actively performs with “At the Table with Dr. King,” and has been privileged to singin Russia, Costa Rica, Thailand, India, and Dubai. She and husband Joel have been responsible for MTM’s logos and other visuals since basically the beginning. Julie MTM responsibilities include managing all on-screen content for Blue Gospel Scripts and At the Table with Dr. King. Julie’s musical theater and dinner theater experience have honed her stagecraft and ability to both perform theatrically and enhance the overall audience experience. In addition to her role with MTM, Julie’s an active piano teacher who’s found immense joy in pouring into the lives of hundreds of students over the years.

Her subtle humor and soulful singing voice are invaluable to MTM!

ERMIAS AMANUEL, BOARD

Ermias Amanuel serves as the lead pastor of Antioch Church in Colorado, where he is deeply committed to both his faith and the community he serves. Alongside his wife Saron, he is dedicated to raising their four daughters in Colorado. A native of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Pastor Ermias has devoted approximately 24 years to empowering and uplifting the Ethiopian and Eritrean communities in Colorado and across the United States. As a respected thought leader, he specializes in biblical interpretation and provides insightful perspectives on leadership. His passion for church music and worship shines through in his ministry. At Antioch Church, which is a thriving Ethiopian congregation, he also focuses on mentoring the next generation of leaders in the U.S. and Africa, aiming to create a lasting impact in the lives of many.

Wade Pursell, Board

Mr. Pursell joined SM Energy as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in September 2008.

Mr. Pursell has more than 34 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining SM Energy, Mr. Pursell was with Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. (NYSE: HLX). While at Helix, Mr. Pursell served in several roles including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President-Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Pursell was with Arthur Andersen LLP, from 1988 through 1997, where he served in roles of increasing responsibility, culminating as an Experienced Manager specializing in the offshore services industry.

Mr. Pursell also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement – Rocky Mountain.

Edna Robinson, Board

The 4th of 11 children, many of Edna’s memories are of the family sitting on the front porch in Wynne, Arkansas, singing in acapella harmony as the neighbors listened and sometimes joined in. She was lead choir Director and Praise Team Director at Living Hope Baptist church for over 20 years. Miss Edna – a Gospel artist who has released 2 solo CDs – Edna has also performed with John Tesh, Phillip Bailey, King Baptist Mass Choir, and Landmark Ministries, and is uninhibited in giving unfettered praise, having grown up in a southern church and large family of singers.

She has also sung with More Than Music on both US Coasts and in Dubai and Israel. Edna loves southern food, singing in Spanish, and Country / Western music (Southern roots) – and her wonderful, kindhearted husband of 36 years and their son, Keith. Through a mutual mentor (Joyce Marie Davis), Miss Edna began collaborating with Dave (BGS scriptwriter) in 2001, and was part of the inaugural performance of “At the Table: A Celebration of the Life and Legacy of MLK, Jr” in 2003… which ultimately became the inspiration for Blue Gospel Scripts.

Selvin Samuel, Board

Dr. Selvin Samuel has been residing in the UAE from 2008, along with his wife, Maria Sherley Selvin and has two beautiful children, Selsheya and Seldon. He is the founder and lead pastor at Kingdom Church in Dubai, UAE.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Bishop Heber College, India. He then graduated from the Southern Asia Bible College, Bangalore (India), with a Masters in Divinity. Another recent feather to his cap is the Doctorate in Ministry from BILD International, USA. Selvin is also a lyricist and song composer and has penned quite a few worship songs, He has sung and produced them for the glory of God via the Kingdom Church Dubai channel in Youtube, which has been a blessing to many.

Dr. Selvin faithfully served in a few churches in the UAE in various roles, before answering the Lord’s call in the year 2018 to pioneer a church. He prayerfully founded Kingdom Church, with a vision to build and develop kingdom-minded leaders and disciples. The church has been growing in leaps and bounds, with people from multiple ethnicities and nationalities gathering under one roof for a spirit filled worship and powerful truth-based, unbiased word of God.

A preacher who is widely sought in many churches around the globe to preach, teach and train pastors and leaders in Servant Leadership, Dr. Selvin has been faithfully serving the Lord for more than 18 years, travelling to many countries, with a burden to impart the vision of raising kingdom-minded leaders.
